What is a more exciting scuba holiday than to travel across the border of your native land and dive in to clear waters just like that of Wakatobi's. I'm sure you've never heard of this diving site before. Why, that is probably because our diving instructors often brought us to Asian diving sites.
Wakatobi is a showcase of coral reefs that never fail to amaze scuba divers. The photos of its underwater world featured in its website is enough proof that Wakatobi owns one of the most relaxing diving site in the world. The Wakatobi waters are clear and deep enough to allow sunlight to penetrate, thus the creatures submerged in it shine with all their iridescence that really soothes the eyes. The coral reefs in its seabed almost resemble that of Red Sea's. Aside from that, there are caverns where underwater photographers can feast on still subjects unmoved by the lack of water current.
Wakatobi, being a protected marine area, employs professional staff that render exceptional resort services. Aside from providing divers with boats, the ordinary holiday in Wakatobi comprises meals services, all-day energy supply, satellite communications, fast Internet access, and many more. Anyone can expect such amenities from Asian resorts, and Wakatobi is a perfect example.

The most significant body of water that will lead you to this Caribbean paradise is the Orinoco river. On the surface, it might just look like your ordinary diving destination - calm, clear waters surrounded by a wild forest, its diversity resembling that of an uninhabited island floating on the ocean. But, underneath this pleasant sight is a splendid and symmetrical arrays of coral reefs and an enthralling schools of the rarest fishes.
Tobago, for the most part, is known in the world of cooking. The fusion of cuisines in this Caribbean country has already gained the respect of the world renowned chefs. No wonder Tobago has the richest source of the prime ingredient in its cuisines - seafood.
The main attraction in Tobago are the huge brain corals, sweepers, and drums, angel fish, parrot fish, trigger fish, barracuda, and more. Oh, there are also sharks, stingrays, tarpon, and turtles. The breathtaking miscellany of species will definitely stop you from swimming. Anyway, you really have to give way to them or you will be 'run over'.
The best time to dive Tobago is during the fourth quarter. Most of the aforementioned species are present during this time. By the way, the mantas in Tobago serve as taxis on the sea bed. They even offer divers a ride. I just cannot imagine myself holding on to its tail while being dragged on the sea bottom. Anyway, that would be a very remarkable experience.

Spectacular – the fitting word for Red Sea. I do not mean to brag about it, but the moment my friends and I sailed on for Egypt, I never expected to sea such magnificent underwater world beneath the most famous sea in the Bible. No wonder, Moses really did incredible miracles in this place.
Talking about Red Sea, this great body of water flows to the Pacific Ocean. But, the waters that mingle with its salty hydrosphere come from Lake Naser and of course, from the great Nile River, the same river where the Egyptian queen Cleopatra sailed on to travel the whole of Egypt. Anyway, the sea is approximately 9,350 feet deep. The waters are as clear as crystal so we did not need diving lights. The coral reefs are breath-taking, and it is only in Red Sea that I saw miles and miles of reefs. It was, by far, greater than the Hawaiian reefs. The fish species here are also rare. Although there are no fishing restrictions in the sea, Egyptian peoples seemed allowed the sea to grow its fullest, unmindful of the wonders it possesses.
The depth of the sea prompted us to dive deeper into the sea bed. There, we walked several feet of white mud careful not to interfere with the natural habitat of the ditritus-eating marine life. We swam across the reefs and took pictures of these fantastic creatures. They seem to live peacefully neath the calm sea. It took us three hours to navigate the spectacular sea. That was tiring, but I have not yet had enough of it.

Diving is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing water sports today. More and more people have resorted to this kind of sport for various reasons. In my case, I indulge to diving, not just to relax, but to capture the moments. That is why I see to it that I bring my camera with me whenever I travel.
The islands of Catallinas in Costa Rica have long been attracting me, that is why I set foot on the islands just recently. The islands are situated on Flamingo Bay's surface. I was greatly amazed by numerous marine species that abound such as reef sharks, big manta rays, and other school of fish. I must say that my trip was not only relaxing, but health-enhancing as well. I believe that sports like diving keeps me physically healthy.
Apart from the different varieties of marine wealth, these islands have a lot more to offer. I indeed had a great time surfing and engaging in other water sports and leisure activities. I can attest that these islands are the best diving destination on this part of the earth. My trip to some of these islands was truly pleasurable and memorable.
